I talked to my friends and classmates, searched job through many websites such as indeed.ca, workopolis.com, jobbank.gc.ca, attended job fairs, applied online.

There are no significant differences in the workplace between Canada and my home country.
Advice to other Immigrants/Newcomers:
- What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
Give out your resume and cover letter a lot. Don’t be shy to tell people you are looking for a job. Be confident when talking to employers. Do not afraid to tell to employer what you are expecting from this job. Please, remember that job search can take a lot of time. Be patient and optimistic. Volunteer while you are looking for a job, it helps you to improve you English speaking skills, make new friends, and receive references.
