The Immigrant Centre depends on volunteers to enhance its services to newcomers. Here is a list of some of the ways volunteers are involved at the Immigrant Centre:
- One-to-one Citizenship Tutor – 2 hour weekly commitment, aiding a newcomer in preparation for their citizenship test.
to-one English Tutor - 2 hour weekly commitment, supporting a newcomer in developing their English language.
The minimum commitment is two hours per week for a 3-month period, depending on the opportunity. Please browse our website to learn more about our services.
If you are interested in volunteering at the Immigrant Centre please fill in the online application.
