On May 21, 2013, the Workplace Entry Program(WEP) had a graduation at the Immigrant Centre. In attendance were the Programs Officers(Service Canada), staff members from Immigrant Centre(I.C.) , the NorWest Co-Op Community Health (Immigrant Women’s Counselling Services-IWCS), New Journey Housing(NJH), SAFE(Safe Workers of Tomorrow), a Calvary Temple volunteer, and I.C. Board members. Immigrant Centre President Keith Solmundson gave the WEP congratulatory speech. It was a wonderful celebration of the WEP graduates who spoke positively and enthusiastically about their learning experiences at the Workplace Entry Program. Ms. Ko closed the graduation ceremony with words of praise and encouragement.
